Announcing the SailHo! league

I have created the first two games of a fast, no-press SailHo! league (shl_01 and shl_02). The idea is to have games being created continuously (as long as there is still interest), and the most important thing is that these games are supposed to be short. Here are the rules:

Points

After a game is finished, points are awarded according to the following simple rules:
  1. In case of a solo, winner gets 1 point
  2. In case of an n-way draw, all surviving players get 0.5/n point
  3. If eliminated, player gets 0 points.
All numbers are truncated to 3 decimal places after comma.

Example: 3-way AEG draw: Austria, England and Germany get 0.166 points; Russia, France, Italy and Turkey get 0.

League rankings

The total number of points that a player has is divided by a total number of games played. That number is then used to determine the current player ranking. The purpose of this is to encourage players to keep playing to maintain their ranking. Also, you can play only one game and leave if you do not like the league...and decide to come back later if you change your mind; your scores will be preserved. After each completed game the league rankings will be updated on this blog.

Note: a player may play an unlimited number of simultaneous games.

Note: since there will be simultaneous games and in the interest of basic fraud prevention, player identities are not revealed immediately after the game ends.

Names and pseudonyms

Players may choose to use pseudonyms instead of their real names for the published league rankings. Please let me know if you decide to use a pseudonym.
